Megan Guertner is the amazing woman behind Pur Oslo. She is committed to making food that nourishes every human body - allergy prone or not. The goal is to educate, inspire and empower people to live a healthy lifestyle. Pur Oslo's incredible salads, cakes, juices and more are sold in the cafe at Kulturhuset and Leela Yoga in Oslo. I recommend to stop by and experience the magic for yourself.
Pur Oslo also hold courses focusing on ecological, gluten and dairy free food. A couple of weeks ago I attended one of them. A gluten free pasta making class. Here we learned some of the principles behind gluten free pasta. We made a couple of different types and shared a great meal together afterwards.
Gluten free pasta is something I've always wanted to learn, but have avoided because I thought it was extremely difficult. I was pleasantly surprised to know how easy it actually is to make. With just a few ingredients and a little bit of compassion almost anyone could do it.
I've also been so fortunate that I was allowed to share one of her recipes:
SWEET POTATO GNOCCHI
If you want to learn more about cooking gluten free pasta. Pur Oslo having a new class on January 11th. What a great Christmas gift for yourself or someone you care about!
